CanAlt Health Laboratories has provided trace-mineral and toxic-metal hair analysis, IgG food-sensitivity testing, and hair hormone analysis to healthcare practitioners across North America since 1989 — the only ISO 15189 Plus™ accredited medical laboratory in Canada licensed for clinical hair mineral analysis.
Our mission is to provide our clients and partners with consistent and timely analytical services. CanAlt operates as an ISO 15189 Plus™ accredited medical laboratory licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Health — and we are the only ISO 15189 Plus™ accredited medical laboratory in Canada licensed for clinical hair mineral analysis.
Committed to the philosophies of natural medicine and to the advancement of human health, CanAlt understands the needs of our partners in healthcare. Our work centres on patient symptomatology and the assessment, detection, and management of heavy-metal burdens and nutritional deficiencies through hair mineral analysis.
We are dedicated to the continuous advancement of health and wellness — expanding our service offering to best support practitioners and their patients, and taking part in research collaborations dedicated to the advancement of human health.
CanAlt's team brings together clinical oversight, quality assurance, analytical chemistry, functional nutrition, and practitioner support — grounded in more than three decades of hair analysis and functional testing.
